Reflections following the final Lunar Eclipse in Pisces (Aug. 27/28, 2026)
The Lunar Eclipse in Pisces this last week completed a series of eclipses we’ve been working with since 2024. Pisces being the final sign of the zodiac, and under a Full Moon, which always represents a culmination, a completion—we were called to release something that was holding us back (& in a significant way).
And because this eclipse was sitting opposite the Sun in Virgo and Mercury, who is exalted here—there was clarity piercing through (but only on the tail end). A light that shone through the nebulous fog, into the dark recesses of the psyche, illuminating any cobwebs that might have still been lingering.
Virgo is one of my favorite archetypes, and one that deserves a final nod of gratitude, for all the work that’s transpired with the South Node here over the last 18+ months (the last eclipse in Virgo will be February 2027, before we are strictly working with the Leo/Aquarius axis).
Virgo in the South Node has helped us to release perfectionism, the need to know. To let go of some of the details that were really just our minds grasping at control. And it’s taught us that devotion to the small things day-to-day is a much more practical (and sacred) path to pursue. While we had been challenged to embrace the unknown, to trust the unknowable, we had the grounding of daily actions to support us through.
And after an era defined by healing and finding self-compassion, we’re collectively shifting into a time for action, a time for being. An era defined by embodied sovereignty, in which we decide the course of our lives through co-creation (this is the work I now help women with in my 1:1 coaching container).
But first, we had to learn how to trust. First we had to surrender.
As someone with a Pisces Moon (and the moon being my chart ruler) this series of eclipses on the Pisces/Virgo axis over the last 2[ish] years has been particularly transformative for me…
It prompted a formal closing out of one relationship… bringing me into a more aligned partnership.
It accelerated my own healing path, deepening my spiritual connections & bringing me back to my own cyclical Nature…
It was ultimately a becoming & a remembering of who I’ve been all along…
An incredibly soulful, sensitive mystical being, that was meant to share and support women on very similar journeys…
Really, it opened up with the New Moon in Pisces, March 2024. (This was the beginning of the cycle, which would officially culminate 6 months later with our first Lunar Eclipse in Pisces in September 2024).
That spring, I was wading through the dark nights of the soul. The end of a long-term relationship (the previous September), had left me reeling and emotionally uncertain. It wasn’t clear if we would reconcile or not.
But something called me to the Redwoods in Northern California… so I followed.
The trip began with me sitting in circle under the New Moon in Pisces, hosted by a friend I had met through my Astrology apprenticeship. This was also my first time sitting with cacao. It felt like my heart opened tenfold, and I could literally feel the earth loving me back. It was wild.
In navigating the wilderness on my own, in driving through the mountains in a jeep with only myself to rely on, I learned what I could do. I realized that I, too, could host women’s circles (which I started later that summer). And I also realized I had to start a life that was truly for me.
And I didn’t know it at the time… but the Redwoods are also linked to the Black Madonna… who would call me on retreat later that year.
(I had no idea who the Black Madonna was, by the way, nor why I was being called—but my soul knew).
It was also during this solo excursion through the Redwoods that I had the first live call for my Somatic Education for Women course. This was the beginning of a year-long certification that would bring me deeper into my body & feminine wisdom (and is now a core component of my offerings).
Flash forward to September 2024—eclipse season opened with the New Moon in Virgo on the 2nd (which would culminate with the Full Moon Lunar eclipse in Pisces on the 17th). Between the New & the Full Moons I decided to open myself up to dating again. It was before I felt ready, but a deeper part of me knew it was time.
And the universe responded—my current partner came rushing in, within a week of my having created an online dating profile. We met on Friday, the 13th, the day of the divine feminine 🌹
Also in Sept 2024, my sister & I went back to California together—this time to wine country. This launched the unfolding of us growing in our spiritual journey together. We met up with a dream interpreter I had known through a mutual friend. And now we are both total witches, hand-in-hand on this path ☺️
By the time we had our next eclipse, the Lunar Eclipse in Virgo on March 13, 2025, I was hosting my first collaborative event. I had met my co-hosts on retreat, the previous November…
That was when I answered the Black Madonna’s call in the mountains of Catalonia, Spain. Here, much was awakened & activated in me. I met many women I was always destined to meet. The number of threads, I cannot count.
It was also during that eclipse season in March-April 2025 that I was propelled into evolving & expanding my astrology business to include 1:1 women’s coaching. I worked with a website designer & a business coach, writing all of the website copy in between seeing therapy clients. My partner & I started talking about moving in together, too.
By the next eclipse season, September 2025, I had just moved in with my partner, and I went into private practice (in the same month!). My plan was to cultivate more flexibility with my schedule so that I could put more time into my own business & the coaching I was doing “on the side.”
It was right after the Lunar eclipse in Pisces on September 21st, that my mom, sister & I went on a trip that wove much of my personal & familial history together. My sister read the Akashic records for us; I read the Astrology. All three of us have significant Pisces placements & it was perfectly timed and very heart-healing.
Come the next eclipse in Virgo, March 3, 2026, I was in the final week of my EMDR training. This was the final piece before I planned to go full-time with my own business in June. I was deep in the process of re-branding to She Rises 🌹
And finally, on August 28, 2026 (the morning after our final Lunar Eclipse in Pisces), I completely wrapped up entirely with therapy clients (which had been the side gig this summer), and am now fully in my own business coaching women on a mind, body & soul level. (Stay tuned to see where things are at for me by the time we reach the final eclipse in Virgo next February 😉).
I’m only writing this following the eclipse and that’s always been how it goes with this energetic… the linear understanding comes after.
It starts with surrender. When I follow my gut knowing… it’s lead me exactly where I needed to go. When I trusted myself & my instincts… it all came together.
(And there are many, many more threads & synchronicities that happened that would be too long to explain here, and are still revealing themselves.)
And I think that’s the medicine of this axis & the beauty of attuning to the cycles of the moon: There’s a deeper wisdom governing it all, that our tangible minds would only get in the way of, and sometimes language cannot encapsulate.
If this speaks to you & you’re craving more connection to the moon & cosmos… my monthly Luminary Membership can help you attune to the seasons of your life.
I am also hosting a Full Moon Women’s Circle next month, on September 27th. I find these gatherings to be a beautiful way of coming back to our cyclical Nature. Tickets will be available next week.
Thanks for reading 🫶🏽
